On Wednesday Barack Obama selected the superstar Shakira as a member of his advisory commission on Hispanic education for her work to help the children of Latin America.The Grammy-award winning,Diva Shakira established the ‘Barefoot Foundation’. Through this foundation she has helped to open many schools in Colombia ,Haiti and South Africa.To make educational and developmental programs for children in Latin America she also participated the World Bank last year.
Sharika was chosen as one of the members of the President’s Advisory Commission,which was created last year by Obama.The aim of this commission is to expand access to high quality education for Hispanic students.Obama said he is grateful that individuals have selected to dedicate their talents for serving the people of America and he always want to work with these people.
