Ron Artest’s,the American professional basketball player and rapper got his new name,Metta World Peace and now it is his official name.Mr. World Peace ‘s name change was delayed because of the outstanding traffic tickets.A court commissioner of Los angeles has granted Ron’s petition and said his last name will be Metta world Peace on Friday.
Metta is a traditional Buddhist word which means loving and kindness toward all.Artest was glad that at last it is now official.He is not the first athlete who change an unusual name.Artest received an award in April for his mind-blowing service and dedication to the community.
